「Silicon Valley - New Japan Summit 2017」は、シリコンバレーと日本をつなぐオープンイノベーションサミットです。

昨年、日米企業合わせて400名超が参加した本サミットを、今年は【2日間】開催にて行います。（昨年の様子）

シリコンバレーのスタートアップ100社を現地取材するメディア「The SV Startups 100」と、スタンフォード大学アジア太平洋研究所「Stanford Silicon Valley - New Japan Project」、一般社団法人日本能率協会が連携し、シリコンバレーのエコシステムの中核を担うスタンフォード大学にて開催します。

日米企業のオープンイノベーション事例や現地VCによる「基調講演」＆「パネルディスカッション」、本場のスタートアップ?による日本企業に向けたプレゼンテーションピッチ、シリコンバレーの大手VCより出資を受けている60社超のスタートアップと日本企業が直接商談できる「Biz-Devブースセッション」などが行われます。

本カンファレンスを通じて、シリコンバレーのスタートアップと日本企業のコラボレーションを創出します。

＜イベント内容＞

基調講演 & パネルディスカッション

• 「シリコンバレー流オープンイノベーションと日本企業」をテーマにした講演・パネルディスカションを開催します。（11/28日本語、11/29英語にて開催）

スタートアップピッチ、商談ブース（2日目、11/29）

現地のスタートアップ約30社がピッチします（11/29午前）。
日本・アジア展開を狙う米国スタートアップ各社がブースを設置し、日本の事業会社と事業提携や資本提携、日本進出などの直接商談を行います。また約60社のスタートアップが1社ずつブースを設け、参加者は個別に商談できます。（11/29午後）

ネットワーキング

　立食形式の参加者交流会。会場外のガーデンにて食事を用意します。朝食、昼食の時間を活用して、参加者同士のカジュアルな交流が図れ、ネットワーキングに有効です。（11/28、11/29にて開催）

The Silicon Valley - New Japan Summit 2017 is an invitation only two-day summit to connect Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies. We collaborated with The SV Startups 100, a Japanese tech media project featuring 100 Silicon Valley startups, the Stanford Silicon Valley - New Japan Project from the Stanford University Asia-Pacific Research Center and Japan Management Association to hold this summit at Stanford University, the core of the Silicon Valley ecosystem. The summit features a Biz-Dev booth where Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies can directly talk business, as well as lectures and panel discussions on examples of cooperation with Japanese companies that will both stimulate and inform. This summit will generate collaboration between Silicon Valley startups and Japanese companies. View the highlights of 2016!

◼︎ Japanese Keynote & Panel Discussion

Panel Discussion's topic will be successful case-studies between Silicon Valley Startups and Asian Enterprises. They will show some tips for international Biz-Dev. Some Silicon Valley Startup's executives will also be on stage to talk about their amzaing business model and their future vision for the Asian Market.

◼︎ SV Startups talk & Biz-Dev Booth *on 11/29

Well known Silicon Valley Startup CEOs talk about "Expansion to Asia".

Provides Biz-Dev booths for each startup in the Biz-Dev session. Attendees can talk about business alliance, investment and localization with the Startups. There will be an International Biz-Dev Support booth for Japanese entersies and the Silicon Valley Startups as well.

◼︎ Networking Party

Provides drinks and light meal at the garden. A unique opportunity to network with a breadth of passionate individuals.
